Library workshops now on homepage

The Library workshops are now listed under the events section - Hopefully this may help us get some more people to notice our classes. Let me know if you have any other things to add to the events/announcements calendar.

EndNote X installed on refdesk

Hi All,

I installed EndNote X on the reference desk computer. However if you log in to that computer as yourself and not management.libary(e.g. rajiv.johal..) it will not be there.

If you want to install EndNote under your account it's actually quite easy and takes 5 minutes.

1) Close all programs
2) Click Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs
3) If Endnote 9 is on your computer it will show on the programs list, if it's there click "Remove", if not go to the next step
4) Click Add A Program button (computer w/plus sign) -> 034-EndNote X-EndNote -> Add

Done. As unofficial EndNote Liaison for HRMG I can do it for you while you're on break if you don't want to bother. Version "X" is pretty much exactly the same as version 9. Which means we all still love it.
